Meet the Doctor
Dr. Owoc attended the University of Pittsburgh and received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Neuroscience with honors. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Owoc continued his
training at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, receiving his D.M.D.
(Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree with Summa cum laude honors.
Following completion of his dental degree, Dr. Owoc continued his training at the University of Minnesota, where he completed his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in the specialty of Prosthodontics, also with Summa cum laude honors. While in residency training, Dr. Owoc received the prestigious American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation Scholarship. While completing his specialty training, Dr. Owoc also completed his Master of Science degree (Dentistry) from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Owoc then attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine to complete his Oral Implantology Surgical Fellowship training. In addition to his formal university training, Dr. Owoc has attended the world renowned Misch Implant Institute, which has reinforced and enhanced his own teaching and clinical technique. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Owoc is also involved in clinical research ideas for implant and bone grafting procedures, as well as surgical instrument and technique development. Currently, Dr. Owoc serves as acting President of the Prosthodontic Society of Western Pennsylvania. He is also the founder of the Owoc Institute of Surgical Prosthodontics. As founder of the Owoc Institutue of Surgical Prosthodontics, Dr. Owoc lectures locally, nationally, and internationally
