About the Institute
The Owoc Institute of Surgical Prosthodontics was established by surgical prosthodontist,
Dr. Kevin J. Owoc. The Institute’s home resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with seminars, lectures, and
courses being offered locally, nationally, and internationally. The vision and goal of the institute
is to educate and train dental clinicians and professionals throughout the world on the current surgical,
prosthetic, and patient management aspects of oral implantology. The Owoc Institute is a philosophy that
embraces the belief that dental implantology is a prosthetic procedure with a surgical component. We believe
that it is ideal for both patient and clinician to have all, or most aspects of dental implantology, performed
by as few clinicians as possible.
Due to the rarity of Dr. Owoc’s training, he is aptly able to offer significant insight on the treatment planning, prosthetic, and surgical management of all oral implantology patients. This fact is extremely rare in most educational formats and other institutes, as these frequently require the need of multiple specialists to convey such knowledge.
